It's the Holiday Season!
So "whoop di do" haha. I know there are already a lot of things to stress you out during the holidays, and food shouldn't be one of them. But over the years me and my friends with Diabetes always talk about how challenging it can be to have Diabetes on Thanksgiving.
Counting Carbs over the course of the day
Lots of high carb, high fat, high sugar foods
Treating low blood sugars after a long day of eating
Not to mention if someone in the family hits you with a
"Can you eat that?"
So this year, we decided to bring in an expert. Mila Clarke-Buckley, aka the Hangry Woman to design a special Thanksgiving Menu just for you!
The Hangry Woman Takeover!
Monday, November 23 Mila will be taking over the
to give us an inside look on how she's getting ready for Thanksgiving. Don't miss a chance to ask her all your questions!

We hope you enjoy your holiday season SAFELY with the ones you love, and don't be too hard on yourself if you ride the holiday blood sugar roller coaster. We're all doing the best we can with what we've got.
I wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving, and thank you for being a part of Diabetics Doing Things.
