We are halfway through 2023, can you believe it? I've been behind on updating you on all things Diabetics Doing Things via the drip, and for that I apologize. But the good news is, I've got a lot of good news for you. What have we been up to? Here's a little update
Both Rob & Eritrea attended ADA Scientific Sessions and Children With Diabetes' Friends for Life conference
We launched Podcasts with T1D Actor Brec Bassinger and T1D Professional Basketball Player Lauren Cox, we even did a full video podcast with Lauren which you can find here.
We hosted our first event with North Texas Food bank called "Getting Started with Diabetes" on June 15
Rob spoke to the summer interns at Mark Cuban's Cost Plus Drugs about the importance of patients having access to the medication they need.
We finalized our next two events:
September 16 - Diabetes Basketball Clinic at Basketball Social House in Denver
December 2 - First Annual Diabetics Doing Things Pickleball Classic in Dallas
Rob will be attending ADCES conference in Houston on August 4-5
Rob and the DDT team will be at JDRF Dallas Type One Nation Summit August 6
Rob will be speaking at JDRF Austin on August 23 and as part of Stacey Simms' Mom's Night Out on October 13 in Frisco, TX
